Taimoor Farid

AM to VP

Taimoor Farid has over 10 years of work experience in Business Planning & Analysis, Management Strategy & Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting & Governance framework, Internal and External Assurance, and Business Advisory. He joined Mobilink Microfinance Bank as Lead Financial Reporting and was later asked to head the BP&A function of the company. Taimoor is currently the Head of Strategy, Planning, and Analysis.

Before MMBL, he was associated with PwC, Pakistan in the Assurance and Business Advisory Department, primarily leading teams in the oil and gas and capital markets. 

Taimoor is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and also an executive education graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE).

Driver to RM

I started working at Mobilink in 2012 as a driver where my usual assignment was with Mr. Ghazanfar Azzam, the CEO. One day he asked me if I wanted to do something different, I asked him what he would like me to do and he asked me if I’d like to try selling the “Commercial Vehicle Loan” product. That day changed everything for me, I found it quite challenging in the beginning but the CEO kept pushing me and continued reassuring me, helping me believe I could achieve anything. I’m really happy that he did because today I am working as a Relationship Manager at the Rawat branch of MMBL. My story truly speaks volumes of the culture of our bank. If you have what it takes, the management will do everything to support you and make sure that you succeed.

My journey with MMBL began in 2013 while I was in search of exciting challenges in my career. I started as a humble Risk Associate, a role that helped me understand the organization’s strategic goals more deeply. As I learned more, I grew hungry for excellence by pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I was then offered a role in Branchless Banking, where I am currently the Executive Manager, which opened up brand new avenues for me.

Through innovative initiatives and fruitful partnerships, I have spearheaded remarkable progress in the company and am honored to be a small part of the organization’s journey through the years. I hope my story serves as an inspiration for aspiring women in the corporate world because I truly believe that once one sets one’s mind to something, nothing can get in the way.

    After the job end date the HR will shortlist relevant profiles and will share them with the line manager of that specific position.

    After getting shortlisted for technical interview you will receive a text message and you will be contacted by the line manager of that job. In this interview your technical skills will be evaluated and you will be asked about your competency and expertise relating to that job.

    After clearing technical interview you will receive a text message for HR Interview. This interview will be the time to go over your experiences and motivations, and to make sure you understand the company and the culture within it. This Interview may also involve some tests (Language and professional skills)

    In case of selection you will receive a digital offer letter on our Recruitment Management System with all the required details.

    In case you accept the offer, a starter kit tab will get enabled on RMS, where you will need to enter all the required details and upload relevant documents.
