Moreover, it provides flexible insurance plans to customers according to their needs.

  • Insurance benefits only for Account holder.
  • Free trial for 3 days.
  • Different product variants: 300 (Quarterly), 500 ( 6 Months) and 1,000 (Annually)
  • Online and offline consultation – non emergency cases.

  • Claim will be calculated according to the normal charges of the hospital around claimant’s city.
  • Maximum limit of Surgeon fee is Rs.10, 000/- in case of surgical procedures and other charges i.e. anesthesia, operation room charges will be calculated at standard rates.
  • Maximum on claim limit is Rs.10, 000/- for Plan A, Rs.20, 000/- for Plan B and Rs.30,000/- for Plan C. Nursing charges are not payable.
  • Medicines on discharges are not covered.
  • Waiting period applied – 7 days
  • Food charges are excluded.

MMBL customers with active account status can avail this service.


Is there any age limit in health coverage?

Yes, it covers people of age group 18-65.


What is the time period of free trial?

The time period for free trail is 3 Days.


Does the health insurance covers the hospitals which are not on panel?

Yes, hospitals which are not on panel are being covered in insurance with 100% reimbursement.


What if customer is not interested in continuing the service?

Customer will be given a time period of 15 days in which he/she can discontinue the service and the amount will be paid back.


On how many channels/mediums the HealthCare product will be offered?

HealthCare product will be offered on two different channels which are mentioned below:

  1. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) – Online or Offline model.
  2. Dost App HealthCare


What is the process for the reversal of charges?

The customer needs to call at the dedicated helpline number 0344-3333737 to reverse the charges during 15 days’ time period.


What is the journey/flow if customer calls helpline number?

The below mentioned format will be followed when customer calls helpline number:

  1. For product information - Press 1
  2. Consultation with Doctors – Press 2
  3. For Claim/Compliant – Press 3


Is Insurance benefit for whole family?

No, it is only for the MMBL Account holder.


Does the Insurance plan cover emergency services?

No, it is a non-emergency medical service.


How many types of Health Insurance plans do you have?

We have two types of health insurance plans viz. General Health Plans and Women Heath Plans.


What documents are required at the time of Claim reported?

The Company shall obtain following documents from you:

  1. Admission Slip of Hospital.
  2. Discharge Slip of Hospital.
  3. Doctor Prescription/ Note for admission or Medical History.
  4. Medical Reports if any
  5. Any Bills to be claimed.
  6. CNIC Both Sides – Front and Back.
  7. In case of income loss compensation, customer must submit proof of income loss i.e. salary slip etc.


What is the time duration to notify the company for the insured claim?

Notify the company as soon as possible, but not later than fifteen (15) days from the date of discharge from hospital.
